THE SECRET
R.J. was heading to the temple; the high priest had requested him to come. R.J. had done work for the temple in the past and was wondering what needed to be done this time? R.J. is a stone mason, one of the best in the city.
When he arrived, a priest took him in the temple to a room in the living section where the priest lived. In the room were two other priest and the high priest. After the door was closed, the high priest said, What I am going to ask you to do, you are to tell no one. What I am going to tell you has been passed down for over five hundred years from priest to priest. The four of us are the only ones that know. Now R.J. I am going to ask that you will swear before God that you will tell no one?
R.J. pledged, I give my word before God I will keep this secret.

R.J. came over and discovered that there was a cave neatly hidden behind the bush. They quickly entered and the priest working with a flint struggled but finally lit a torch so to see their way. Back into the cave they went turning one way then another up and down finally coming to a small opening to a larger room. In the room were ten torches plus lose stones. Then R.J. saw it; he could not believe his eyes a box of gold with rings on the sides with poles threw the rings to carry it. On top were two Cherubim of gold facing each other, their wings seem to touch in the middle over the mercy seat. This Ark also contained the stone tablets that God wrote the law with His Finger.
