Is there a way for the average person with low or middle income to get ahead and prosper? Is there a way to get beyond money problems altogether without selling your soul to a high stress job or business that consumes you? There is now! It’s the one you’re holding in your hands! It’s called The Debt Freedom Plan!
CHAPTER 1
A Better Way
Welcome to the world’s simplest money plan. Within these pages you will learn about a simple process I discovered that can turn everything around for you and put you back in charge of your money and your life. Unlike the hundreds and possibly thousands of other money plans floating around out there, however, this one contains none of the gimmicks, shortcuts or tricks that profess to make you rich overnight, but almost always fail. Most of those plans, widely known as get-rich-quick schemes, are based on pie in the sky dreams that few people ever realize. The Debt Freedom Plan, on the other hand, is quite the opposite. It’s an old fashioned, straightforward, common sense solution that works every time for anyone who uses it.
If you find yourself in a financial bind and are actively seeking a way out, then your search is over! This book is for all those who are tired of the old grind and are sincerely looking for a better way, a way to get out from under all the excessive bills and obligations that gradually crept in and took over their lives. When used consistently, the Plan always works and will turn your situation around in a matter of time. The method is simple, but it requires some basic changes in your lifestyle, the way you think and the way you use your money. Also it takes time, usually a few years, and consistent effort. Aside from that, however, there are no products to sell, no downlines to build, no secrets
to discover, and no exploitation of others for your own personal gain. All it requires is that you learn a simple process that takes control of the money you’re already making, ensuring that it brings you always in the direction of greater freedom.
If you’re tired of the rat race and are looking for a way to get out of debt and buy back your life, then you are ready for this Plan. I won’t insult your intelligence by telling you it’s quick and easy, but I will say that it’s sure and permanent (as long as you continue using it). This is because, unlike the other plans that are based on hopes and dreams, this one is based purely on mathematics, that is, in learning how to turn the numbers around and get them moving consistently in your favor.
Although the Plan is universal and will work for virtually anyone who uses it, it was written primarily for the little guy, the average Joe, who doesn’t necessarily make a lot of money, but desires a better life. Whether you’re a carpenter, a shoe salesperson, a waitress, a mechanic, a secretary, a garbage truck driver, a nurse, an English teacher, a factory worker, a house painter or whatever you do to earn your pay makes no difference. All that matters is that you learn to take control of the money you’re making today. Learn how to direct it differently, so that it brings you forward everyday. No more than this is required.
If you’re like me, then you’re one of us, one of the millions of quiet hard working folks with ample intelligence and capability, yet you lack the aggressive personality it takes to make it to the top of the dog-eat-dog world of high finance. But without that aggressiveness, without that competitive edge, your chances of winning the race for the big bucks are slim. Fortunately, however, there is another way to make it to the Good Life
, and I consider it a better way, because it doesn’t involve all of the battles, the stress, the worries, the constant pressures, and headaches that the competitive rat race method requires.
To be sure, the method I’m about to show you is very different. First of all, it’s slow and easy going, which is why it always works. Next, it’s based on timeless financial principles rather than on quick fixes or gimmicks designed to make you a lot of money fast. And finally, it gets your finances moving consistently in one direction—the direction of increasing freedom!
The Dream of Debt Freedom
Have you ever dreamt about becoming 100% debt free and owning your life outright? Have you ever wished you could just pay off all those darned bills and get out from under it all for good? Of course you have—we all have, especially when times are tough! But as we pull ourselves back from the edge and get somewhat caught up with our bills, the urgency always fades as we settle back into the old grind as usual. But what if you never lost that sense of urgency? What if you converted it, instead, into a long term plan that, if followed, would lead you all the way to debt freedom! In other words, what if you took your dream of debt freedom and transformed it into reality? Would it make a difference in the quality of your life?
You bet it would! Well, starting today, you have the ability to do this, because you now have the map that will show you how to get there. You see, each of us is capable of living a life that’s free from debt if we so desire. Each of us has the power to reclaim our lives from all of the debts, bills, and related obligations that have taken over, if that’s what we want. All it takes is the will to do so and a rock solid plan, which you are now reading. So put it off no longer and begin learning this process and before you know it, you’ll be looking back on today as the day you turned your life around with the single decision to become debt free and own your life!
The Daily Grind
The Debt Freedom Plan originated out of my own misery and my desire for a better, more meaningful life. Like so many others, I found myself in debt and looking for a way out. The answer, I thought, was clear—I needed to find a way to make more money, the quicker the better. So, for years, I tried all the rat race methods of making a lot of money fast so I could reach the Good Life
and finally relax. But after years of on and off attempts, I only found myself much deeper in debt and thoroughly dissatisfied with my life. But I knew there had to be a better way, something that was simple and straightforward, and that anyone could learn. Yet, in all my years of searching, all I found were exploitive schemes to get rich quick and countless business plans that pulled me ever deeper into the maze of confusion. So, unable to find a simple and straightforward system, I decided it was up to me to come up with one myself.
This decision started my lifelong quest to find a better way, a way to get ahead for sure, one that would work for anyone. I spent years researching and learning, reading everything I could get my hands on. But, as I would learn, much of what I read only added to my problems, because the shortcuts, schemes and exploitation these plans teach, only gets you in deeper financially or by creating bad karma for yourself because they require exploitation of others for your own personal gain. There were plans involving real estate, stocks and bonds, commodities, network marketing, mail order, pyramid schemes and all kinds of money-making businesses. I spent more time and money than I care to admit, looking for that one nugget, the secret to riches. But none of them were successful for me because they required either more money than I could afford, too much time, an aggressive, personality that just isn’t me, or a combination of these and other factors I didn’t have or didn’t want. Also, many of them had that underlying element of exploitation which, I came to understand, always comes back to impoverish you, if not financially, then it certainly would do so spiritually by creating bad karma.
These schemes, along with my bad habits of borrowing and overspending were bringing me in the wrong direction. Once my debts began, I found myself caught in a cycle that, over the years, would feed on itself. You know how it goes! The more money I borrowed and spent, the more I needed until I eventually found myself caught up in the daily grind
. This is the same vicious cycle you may be caught in today. In my case, as in most, my income was not nearly enough to stay ahead of my snowballing expenses. These expenses eventually took over my life, dictating what I could do and what I couldn’t do, because they had taken away my freedom. I soon found myself working longer and harder but getting nowhere fast, like climbing a slippery slope, and slipping continually deeper into debt while just barely scraping by from paycheck to paycheck. After years of being caught in this miserable cycle, hoping to solve my problems with getrich-quick schemes, I knew it was time to stop guessing and somehow go out and find that better way.
