    INTRODUCTION

This particular group of poems has taken me over three years to write; that is if all things being even remotely particular, then what is time—but a precise manifestation of a concise inspiration:

. . . I drew upon many areas, sides of life, and the all sustaining subtlties. At times even that unplaceable mysteriousness silently resounded: yet and still—form took hold, words took form.

I cannot justly speak for the entire work myself: It is one of those renditions—where without the inspiration attained, I doubt I could have journeyed this book to conclusion . . . Mystery, all that surrounds, and the reasons why words found their way onto paper—this I offer you dear reader, I hope you enjoy.

    DREW A BLANK

    We are, the way-

we are; for due of proportion.

    For skism’s, isolations,

    and binding zealous:

    What has thou?

    I have, for have not’s.

    O’great temptress!

    Great need—within my very

own proportions . . . for you have,

    within your lucid innocence-

    a magnitude; far greater,

    than my proportion.

    A pyramid . . . atop, a

    pyramid: A fine point,

    an awakening, fine point.

    Beheld greatness. For

    sight and measure:

    Diluted concentration-

    proportion

    . . . is mere innocence.

    Crept though wept-

    many and great and tear;

    they all fall, for standing.

    Clouds do visit the likes

    of puddles reflections:

    only, to see their perfect

    work there’in . . . .

    Existence is to unfold-

    not to be persued.

    In all your

    willful haste;

    tact is construed

    as authenticity,

    genuine affinity, and divine

    interpretation.

    Failure . . . bred blame. Achievement

    —elation. Content:

    Unrest. To be sought,

and merely unfold; what is given.

    Passing an object.

    Passed the object. Turn yourself

    around, still in motion;

    the object has disappeared:

    persuing sight infront,

    the object passes—from

    behind. No cause, no effect,

    just motion . . . The sound’proof

    temple.

    To be part of

    something; imparting substance

    upon it’s nothingness:

    is truly euphoric;

    becoming . . . what has already

    become-

    : The immaculate stage.

    LINT ON THE LEDGE

    As I awoke to the

    receding rain—day broke,

    as the trail’drop fell.

    The clouds looked upon

    the underneath, pronouncing

    the land full with splendor.

    Night bade me quest:

    Full conscious in a dream-

why do I know, I am asleep?

    Life followed life, into

    the unknown. Indignity to ground,

head turned left; person has passed.

    An unlike realization—never

    felt; knew, I was somewhere

else, but dreaming: in the same.

    A familiar place, the people

    I knew; contemplated time,

    grandfather alive—yet deceased.

    An extreme experience,

    subtle deliverance: I smiled

    when my eye’s opened; nullified.

    The clouds cleared somewhat:
