Above—
Above all be yourself, your very special self.
Abstain—
Refrain from doing.
This is especially important when it comes to drugs, smoking, alcohol, and sex. Don’t be the kind of person who does things just because your friends do. Set yourself apart from the run of the mill people who think that to be popular you have to do what everyone else does. Just say, I’ll pass for now,
or Thank you anyway. But I’m not interested.
Addiction—
Addiction is an empty room in the heart, and what’s in the heart comes out of the mouth.
Admire—
I used to admire the rich and famous in any form. I admired beautiful expensive cars, big expensive homes, and expensive clothes. One day I was asked, if I would think them to be so beautiful if I knew they stole money from poor people to buy them? Now I only admire people, good people. What I call a good person is a person who gives of himself in a kind, loving way without expecting anything in return; a caring person without selfish desires. Thinking more about others than oneself is a very admirable trait.
Adolescence—
Defined as the period between childhood and adulthood, adolescence is the most difficult period in anyone’s life. It is a time when we do and say things we wish we had not.
If you cannot afford a finishing school you learn the best way you can, and that is by trial and error. Some days you feel awful because you said something ugly about someone and it got back to them or worse you did something ugly and hurt them. No one told you, if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. All the things we do and say to others are our seeds that we are sowing and maybe not today or the next day, but give them time to fertilize and you will harvest a much larger crop. So, remember the next time you get ready to say or do something ugly, you are going to get it back ten fold.
Affirmations—
Today I will think repeatedly of the many achievements which I am going to accomplish in the future, that are vastly superior to anything I have ever done in the past. I peacefully allow my life to unfold into overflowing abundance.
I am filled with peaceful awareness
I ignore any doubts in my head
I have the inner strength to find my way
My life makes a difference
Something good is going to happen to me today.
Ambitious—
Don’t sit around and watch others in their climb to the top. Do something—100 percent—your best, or better than anyone else.
Appearance—
You should be a combination of many elements, how you look, talk, move, act, and how you meet people, and how you handle yourself at parties, at school, at work, and with your family.
Your appearance tells everyone who sees you, something very important and that is what you really think about yourself. You are a mirror of your own self opinion. Whether you are in tennis clothes, jeans, and sweater, or in full evening regalia, you telegraph a message to those around you. They see you, hopefully as a neat clean pulled together person, who cares about himself or herself. Dressing well means being well-groomed and having a good basic wardrobe. You wear clothes appropriate for each occasion and one that fits properly. Make sure there are no spots on your clothes, no buttons missing, and that the dress does not come apart at the seams. You do not need to have lots of clothes.
Wearing low-cut clothes with your tummy hanging over is not
