    Paulie recalls the death of his childhood friend’s father when he goes home to the province after deciding to stay there and manage his inheritance, a house, and a pedicab business, from his late father. He and Ardette, his wife, find a boy trapped in the pedicab warehouse and they struggle to look for the boy’s parents. Longing for a child, Ardette becomes so comfortably and deeply connected with the boy that she wants to officially adopt him. But a mysterious guy shows up to claim that he’s the boy’s father. Mystified, Paulie finds out the link of the boy to the mysterious guy who happens to be someone he knows in the past. Confronted with the fear of losing his wife, Paulie devises a plan to return the boy to his parent. When Paulie wakes up the next day, everything has changed.
