Joe Oblack was born in New York City, earned a business degree at the University of Miami, and subsequently completed a career in the US Air Force as a commissioned officer. After the air force, he went to work in Iran and was there during the 1979 Iranian Revolution. He saw a Western, cosmopolitan city overthrown in a few months by radical fundamentalists and saw Khomeini triumphantly return and establish the Islamic Republic of Iran. After some unnerving incidents with the radicals, Joe returned to the United States. Joe followed on with a position working with members of the Saudi Air Force, where he learned more about Shariah and Mohammad and started reading the Koran. All these experiences were part of the motivation to write this book.

Radical Islam Wins - Joe Oblack
Introduction
This fictional story explains how when conditions are right, radical Islam is able to penetrate the government of the United States of America at all stages, from the smallest school board to the presidency. It could be the reality of the future. We cannot ignore the progress made already toward achieving their goal with organizations associated with the Muslim Brotherhood.
Also included is an easy-to-read and concise history of Islam that helps explain where radical Islam got its roots. Just because the radicals tend to pick and choose certain tenets of Islam to follow does not mean all Muslims do or feel the same. While working and living with family in Iran in the 1970s, we felt safe and had Muslim acquaintances whom we socialized with. However, in 1978 I saw Tehran turn Islamic in a matter of months. People who had smiled and pretended they were happy to have the Americans in their city were now throwing rocks and shouting, Americans go home.
From the preaching in the schools, universities, and mosques, the people were reminded that the Koran and Shariah do not allow them to have non-Muslim friends or to live and dress like Westerners, and they were told they needed an Islamic State where everyone (mainly men) would be equal and the funds from all their oil would be shared by everyone. They got their Islamic State, but like most revolutions, some people turned out to be more equal than others.
However, it was not only Americans who left Iran; it was Jews, Armenians, other Christians, and many Iranian Muslims. They were no longer safe in their own country.
There are somewhere between 1.5 and 2 billion Muslims in the world now. There is only a small percentage of radicals who kill, pillage, and wish to overthrow governments. However, if only one-tenth of a percent is radical, that is almost 2 million enemies of both Westerners and other Muslims.
Chapter 1
The Year 2084—The Death of
the United States of America
Jasim Ghalib, standing next to the flagpole on the roof of the White House, tore down, stomped, and spit on Old Glory before raising the new flag of the United Islamic States of America. His task complete, he bowed toward Mecca and then tossed the American flag to the crowd below, which was chanting Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.
The crowd tore and burned what was left of Old Glory. Watching the crowd, the United Islamic States President Ghazi, now called caliph (Muslim king), celebrated his conquest. It is 2084, and Islam now rules what was once the United States of America. The great constitutional republic’s three hundred years of democratic rule ended when an Islamic president was elected and a Muslim majority swept both houses of Congress. The Muslim Brotherhood achieved its goal—it destroyed America’s house from within.
It had taken since the election of 2080 to make all the necessary changes for the new theocracy. Congress, with its Muslim majority, mandated the states to convene a constitutional convention and dissolve the Constitution. The offices of the presidency, Congress, and the Supreme Court and the majority of the separate states agreed. Islamic law (Shariah) became the new Constitution. Christians and Jews were now dhimmis (second-class citizens required to pay jizya, a special tax). Men and women of other or no faiths were given the choice of conversion to Islam, slavery, or death.
The caliph, a Muslim king with absolute power, replaced the office of president. An Islamic council consisting of twelve elders appointed by the caliph replaced the American Congress. Islamic courts, appointed by the caliph, replaced the American legal system. America was now an Islamic theocracy.
The White House would soon be razed and replaced with an Islamic palace for its new caliph. Soon the National Cathedral, the National Shrine, and the Mormon Temple in Washington, DC, would be converted to mosques.
As the Islamic flag went up, Christians and Jews finally realized that Muslims had never been their friends, and progressives realized they had been betrayed. Many Christians and Jews finally read the Koran and understood the famous surah (verse), O you who believe, do not take the Jews and the Christians for your friends. They are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; Allah does not guide the unjust people
(Koran 5:51). But they had waited too long to discover what Muslims truly believed.
Religious police watched every move the population made. Violators suffered immediate punishment for any violation of Shariah, no matter how trivial. The Islamists recognized no other religion.
A grand festivity took place on the White House lawn. Since John and Abigail Adams had moved into the new White House on November 1, 1800, this was the first time a party was held outside at the White House in celebration of new conquerors. Who dreamed this could happen in America? Entire lambs were roasting, large caldrons of rice boiled, and there were Middle Eastern breads and pastries for everyone. Crowds pushed each other to grab the food. Shouts of Allahu Akbar
filled the air.
There were many more Muslim celebrations throughout the city of Washington, DC, the rest of the day and into the night. Christians, Jews, and moderate and secular Muslims, as well as atheists, were in denial, unable to accept that this complete change of government had happened. But it happened, and it happened in the form of a revolution, for revolutions are inevitable in the course of history.
Revolutions do not happen overnight. The seeds are sown years, sometimes centuries, in advance. The take-over by Islamists of the United States of America was no exception. Islam’s rise in the United States followed the fall of the socialist state America had become. It followed the rise-and-fall sequence described by the Scottish historian Alexander Tytler (1747–1813), who wrote his theory about prior republics two years before George Washington became president. Tytler believed republican democracies are temporary in nature and tend to last no more than two to three hundred years. In a democracy, he continues, seeds for its own destruction are planted when voters discover they can vote themselves benefits, and from that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits; eventually the government collapses and a dictator takes over.
Additionally, an American businessman, Henning W. Prentis Jr., expounded on Tytler’s theory in a 1943 speech by adding his cycle of democracy: In the beginning, the society overflows with spiritual faith, then great courage followed by liberty, then comes abundance, then complacency, followed by apathy and dependency. Finally, the so called democratic government can no longer afford to provide more and more goods, services or entitlements and the government collapses. Tyranny prevails and a dictator promises various forms of government welfare that never comes.
The government-supported welfare programs in the United States began in the 1930s during the Great Depression. The next major step began with Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty and Great Society programs in the 1960s. These programs provided aid to lower-income citizens, general welfare payments, healthcare through Medicaid, food stamps, federal and state housing benefits, and more. Of course, once started, this was not enough. More, always more
is the death knell for welfare. The public only needed to vote and elect those who controlled the purse strings and who promised more help
for the less fortunate.
Entitlements grew, and the government entered every facet of daily life. In time, the United
