    FORWARD

With God’s help, this Promise Prayer was written to help me pray. Some of the many promises are listed here to give me a quick reference of what I can petition before Him. The prayer is also a way to remind God and me what He said / promised.

Since God promised and He can’t lie, then I know I have the assurance that God will answer me. Trust Him with your whole being and resign yourself completely to His will. Delight in Him. Psalm 37:1-8. Be patient and you will receive the promises. Hebrews 6:12.

I’m sure we all want our prayers answered. First of all we must ask. You have not because you ask not. Ask with confidence and humility (God is your Daddy / Friend relationship).

We must be bold (not vague in our requests), not regard iniquity in our heart, pray according to the will of God and base prayer on the Word of God (use scripture), and not pray amiss (having the wrong motives).

We must believe in persistence (in faith, nothing wavering), and not to worry (give the request to God), and be grateful (give thanks to God).

We need to have a positive confession, be effectual (quality of prayer, in power), pray fervently (have our whole being on God, and not people), and pray in secret (not to impress men).

We should be without strife, without fear, without unforgivness. Be submissive to God and be able to receive what you have prayed for.

Wives should be submissive to their husbands, and husbands love their wives so the angels will not be displeased and delay our prayers. 1 Corinthians 11:3, 10.

If the husband lets his wife be over him, then his prayers will be hindered. 1 Peter 3:7.

...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16b.

Prayer is when believers join forces with God for His will to be done upon this earth. His will is already done in heaven.

Before you pray, get right with God. Repent and Praise Him! Believe what you pray will be answered because God said so. Thank Him for what He has already done.

Therefore I say unto you what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:4.

There is no weapon that will prosper against my prayers. Isaiah 54:15-17. I will not entertain discouraging negative thoughts from the devil or negative words from people. I confess the word I prayed as being met. I do not cast away my confidence in the Word of God. Hebrews 10:35. Be adamant when you pray. Don’t let people discourage you but keep your eyes on Jesus and the Bible promises.

Help me pray early before the days problems begin. Help me pray in the Spirit. Help me be persistent. Luke 11:5-9, 18:7-8. Help me not compromise one jot or tittle of the Word but stand firm. Thank You Lord!

Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:4.

How desperate are you? 1 Samuel 1:1-15 (Hannah) Holy Spirit help me!

Bow down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy. Psalm 86:1 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. Psalm 34:6 (poor-oppressed).

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? Psalm 24:3. He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. Psalm 24:4. Help me Lord have a pure heart before You.

He sent his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20.

Show me Lord what / who you want me to pray for.

Quicken my mortal body to strength and health to do the work you want me to do. I yield my body as a vessel / channel for your use Father, in Jesus’ name.

Good morning Father, Almighty God, El Shaddai, the God who is more than enough. I AM that I AM. Good Morning Jesus, our Lord, our Apostle, and our Redeemer, our Healer and resurrected Christ, who sits at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us. Our Lord who has made satan a defeated foe. Good Morning sweet Holy Spirit, our Comforter, our Help, our Teacher. I love you Holy
