About this ebook

A BABY FOR CHRISTMAS?

Tiffany Lawson promised herself that she would never, ever give her heart to a man again. Now she’s a pregnant former rodeo queen and ex-debutante struggling to support her mother and grandmother. She’s already picked out the perfect adoptive parents, but cowboy Navy SEAL Rowdy Jones isn’t letting anyone take his child.

Rowdy loves the rush that comes from being a Navy SEAL, but finding out he’s about to become a dad? That trumps everything. While he and Tiffany shared only one night, Rowdy’s determined to do right by her and their baby. His next mission—to win Tiffany and keep his son—might be his toughest yet…

Oh good grief. Another "emergency" c-section. Maybe authors should actually double check the facts.... being part of the whole mainline to get women to give up the power and experience of childbirth is just too over the top. Please note that medically, it is within normal range for a baby's heartbeat to have decels. The real health problem here was the mother's blood pressure and likely preecclampsia.

I was not able to really connect with the characters here. They were selfish and self centered. I found myself not really caring what the outcome was at several points. The plotline was good and did carry the energy, but I was unable to give more than 2.5 stars.
