Married for His Convenience
Author

Eleanor Webster

Eleanor Webster loves high-heels and sun, which is ironic as she lives in northern Canada, the land of snowhills and unflattering footwear. Various crafting experiences, including a nasty glue-gun episode, have proven that her creative soul is best expressed through the written word. Eleanor is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in psychology and holds an undergraduate degree in history and creative writing. She loves to use her writing to explore her fascination with the past.

The Earl of Langford's wife left him for France and was caught up in the trauma of the French Revolution, leaving their two children in France where they are basically kidnapped and while he manages to retrieve his daughter, she is left traumatised, silent. He wants to retrieve his son as well but his daughter needs help now. He finds the eccentric and compassionate Sarah who intrigues him and he decides to marry her to help with his daughter. She embraces the opportunity to get away from her ultra-conservative and going senile relative with whom she lives and to search for her half-sister who is missing somewhere in London. Not bad, but there were moments that could have flowed better.
