For me this read was quick and simple. I felt as if the story was a recycle with some added spice. I was interested but no fully pulled in to the world. Adelaide was a strong woman with a mind of her own and desires that she could control. She did not allow her feelings for Dempsey to overshadow her logic.Dempsey seems to be a man out to prove something more. He was totally oblivious to Adelaide but the way he went about things was not quite the way I was hoping would happen. There needs to be a change in the way fake relations come together. There needs to be some honesty in the friends to lover to engaged to married. Harlequin homemark simple and to the point. Its all about the desire established.
