Willard Oriol
WILLARD ORIOL's first novel, THE PAST IS NEVER DEAD, is a dramatic work of historical fiction set in the Eastern European country of Bulgaria. The story depicts how its 50,000 Jews were saved from the death camps in a country that was an ally of Nazi Germany during WW II. This was achieved through the collective efforts of the protagonist, the Bulgarian King Boris and the Eastern Orthodox Church of Bulgaria. He recently finished a non-fiction book, AGAINST ALL ODDS, about nine heroic women, from four different Allied countries, who served in World War II.
