INTRODUCTION – On The History of this Book

Almost immediately after the Historic "Million Man March," convened by the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan on October 16, 1995, I settled on an intention to become a better helper of the Minister in His Efforts to elevate and save Our People in America (U.S.). At some point in 1996, I decided to start a business in my hometown – Compton, California – selling and renting videos of Minister Farrakhan’s Lectures.

I chose that avenue because it was the videos of Minister Farrakhan which brought me in to become a registered member of the Nation of Islam, just a few years earlier. I spent the entire summer of 1989 feeding on the Minister’s lectures – before ever setting foot in a Mosque – so I knew what His Words had done for me, and I wanted to help others experience what I experienced: a profound Spiritual transformation.

Once I settled on the idea for the business, I then had to come up with a Name for the business. That took a little time. Having a Christian (Apostolic) background, myself, and knowing that the people I wanted to service were mostly of the same background, I wanted to choose a name for the business that would be somewhat familiar to our People with Christian

roots, and that would also tie into the Message and Work of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and, by extension, that of His National Representative – the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan.

One evening, while reading through my Bible [yes, Muslims do read and study the Bible (smile)], I came across Revelation 10:7 – "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished…". For some reason, that passage resonated with me, and when I reflected that this verse summed up the Mission of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, I felt that I was closing in on my business name.

Then, it occurred to me that the Hon. Elijah Muhammad’s birth date was October 7 (1897), or 10/7. I again looked at the Bible passage – Rev. 10:7 – and I knew that I had my business name, Seventh Angel Enterprises. I set up an e-mail address, drew up membership contracts and cards, made contact with a supplier – Bro. Majied Muhammad (Pbuh) – and I was, as they say, on my way.

That experience was literally the conception of this book, although I was not thinking of anything like a book at that time. I did, however, develop an increasing interest in studying, albeit rather casually, what appeared to be this mathematical correlation between the Person and Work of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, and Scriptural prophecies concerning the Last Days. From that time (around mid-1996), onward, I have been observing and compiling notes on this phenomenon, sharing them with my Brothers – Craig and Marcus – and on rare occasions, a very few others.

Approximately 20 Years later, in early 2017, I was sharing some of my recent notes, online, with a fellow student, Sister Latricia Muhammad, and she mentioned something to the effect that this could be a book. I paused, reflected on the current year (2017), and the idea just made sense…after all this time. I then started, with the Help of Allah, the process of producing the book.
