About this ebook

In writing this book, my intention was to point some topics that under my experience and perspective could be analyzed and improved by conscious people concerned with the legacy we will leave to the new generations.

I mention our behavior as individuals, as part of organized groups or Institutions and as part of one of the most influential

    Introduction

    Since I was a kid, oh boy! that is long ago, about sixty years ago, I have been hearing of Compassionate, Humanitarian, Saviors of the planet, Protectors of what ever thing you can imagine and lot of scams too. Just turn on your Radio, TV, Telephone, Internet, Face book and in banners you see while driving through, all asking for contributions of all kinds.

    You want to play to be smart? You could start one of this Tax Free Groups, Association or whatever your imagination could name them, we already have plenty:

    Foundations;

    Churches of all colors and gods;

    Church of Believers in Extra Terrestrials or Anunnakis, I might start this one;

    Save the Unicorn Association;

    Help my Grandma Donation (She has urine retention);

    Save the etc, etc.

    What I remember and seen is only of those sixty years of my short existence but if we go back in history, it is not clear at what moment we started wondering about compassion. Old civilizations studies do not mention it.

    Was it born with the concept of Heaving and Hell?

    Was it started with the creation of major religions? I do not have that information.

    According to the dictionary Compassion is a feeling of deep sympathy for some one stricken by suffering or misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the pain and remove its cause. After centuries we were not able to attack the causes of misery.

    Compassion does not work, never did. In most cases and for some people, it is just a way of making a good living, calling to your good soul or your intention to wash your culprit from some wrong doing and using your compassionate contribution for their own means.

    At crisis and bad times, we do not need Compassion, what we need is Solidarity from all Government Statements, Groups and Individuals, to help each other to stand up and face adversity with courage and determination.

    What follows are my feelings and experience as an ordinary person on how I see the Compassionate Behavior at individuals, groups and even at a country level.

    Preface

    I grew up in a poor neighborhood in a small town of a third world country, I was one of ten brothers and sisters, we were poor but proud of belonging to a family doing its best to make progress in life.

    We did not expect exterior help of any kind, not even from our Government, they were always
