Jean Pi Lee
Jean Lee has her BSc and MSc in biochemistry and has worked in laboratory research. Ecological concerns has led her to be an environmental activist. She supports the protest movements against clearcut logging, and megahydroelectric dam construction projects. Jean also has done some treeplanting and has written in local newspapers on global warming issues. She passes on her knowledge of science and mathematics to high school and university age students in work as a tutor and teaching assistant. Reading and writing is a passion for Jean who has published medical related articles in medical journals also. Having commented on the human condition in some poetry, Jean is now making comments on science in science fiction writing.
