Cast on a multiple of 3. Knit without the edge stitches. Three-stitch repeat. Repeat rows: 3-11. Note: The purl stitch that is worked this way sets up the knit stitch to be knitted through the back leg.
Note: This pattern knits differently: The width knits vertically. Cast on the number of stitches required for the height of your work. Knit the required width vertically and then turn your work horizontally. Knit tightly. Needles: U.S. no. 4 (3.5 mm).
