About this ebook
EPISODE 1 OF 5
Two kids.. one fateful choice.
Quinn and Liam are brother and sister. As the older brother, Liam wants to protect his sister from the evil that lurks in their world. Quinn on the other hand, sees her brother as a meddling boy who gets in the way while tormenting him with her secret ability to move things out of her way.
That is until Liam takes her to a forbidden place that she's not meant to see.
In this first episode of The Way of The Eight collection, The Devil's Mask introduces you to the darker, and sometimes funnier side of fantasy.
Sibling rivalries, portals, and an annoying bird that can travel between realms only scratches the surface of The Devil's Mask.
***This is the same story opening The Way of The Eight collection – which is also available.***

Prologue
You’ve been waiting for this, haven’t you?
she said. Her words vibrated against his ear as she spoke each syllable into it.
He nodded, clutching her hips, guiding them forward and backward.
"I know who... or should I say, what you are," she whispered, grinding her naked body on top of his.
Their swaying motion kept time as the headboard bumped against the wall, though her words seemed to bypass his ears.
Whatever,
he moaned. Don’t stop.
She smiled and stroked his hair with her left hand and nibbled on his ear. His salty skin made her want him more. Now, she stared, watching his face, waiting for his features to tighten, and then relax. Almost there. The closer he got, the faster she eased off, slowing her gyrating hips to a stop, and waited. Whenever she did this to them – all of them, they responded in the same manner by clutching her cheeks with a simultaneous plea, Don’t stop.
Again, she moved. Methodical at first, then inching the needle faster. The male body only had so much restraint, though was a marvelous, yet predictable specimen, she learned, and loved how close to the edge she’d take him – now, for the third time.
She’d do this all day with the right partner.
His muscles tensed, clenching so hard that for a moment, she thought someone zapped him with an electrical current. For a second time she nibbled on his ear. This time biting hard enough for him to whisper something.
