This is The Single Dragonfly Book 3 - Adventures in Paradise, of The Single Dragonfly series.

As mentioned at the end of the previous Book, The Single Dragonfly Book 2 - California Alaska and More Here I Come, it was time to get ready for another big adventure, The Single Dragonfly Book 3 – Adventures in Paradise.

Much like the path of a dragonfly, from one place to the next, this is the story of my life, an anthology set of books from my humble beginnings to one exciting adventure after another. Follow me to be a part of this incredible journey to exotic places all over the world, such as the frozen Arctic and the highest peak in North America, to the Thousand Islands and Bali in the South Pacific, plus Europe, Africa and Asia along the way. Be a part of these adventures, starting from my home-sweet-home in Alabama to other intriguing places, far away. See how I was able to integrate business with pleasure during my career in fulfilling many items on my Bucket List. Chapter 1: Indonesia Here I Come

As mentioned at the end of my previous book, The Single Dragonfly Book2 - California Alaska and More Here I Come, after bidding a temporary farewell to my Mother in Alabama and giving her a tour of Graceland, it was time to begin my next big adventure, The Single Dragonfly Book 3 – Adventures in Paradise.

Work in Jakarta started off fast and furious with a few distractions. The first thing I noticed when I looked out the window at the ARCO office in the Panin Bank building, at the roundabout at the end of the street, Jalan Sudirman, was an amazing statue we called the Pizza Man. Peering out the window, I thought, "This looks like something out of a foreign country". Then I reminded myself that this was a foreign country, having unique customs, much different than back home. This was going to be interesting and, as it turned out, one of the many reasons I came to love Indonesia.

Another interesting statue in Jakarta was the famous 7-Up Man, Dirjantara (Father of the Heavens), inspired by Hanuman, the mythological Flying Monkey God and a tribute to the Indonesia Air Force. Also attracting attention was the "Hansel and Gretel" Selamat Datang (Welcome) statue of a young boy and girl welcoming visitors to Indonesia.
