About this ebook
What’s at the circus show, whirling and twirling? What’s in this picture made of squiggles and spots? What’s on the table, laid out for a fabulous feast?
With paintings by Van Gogh, Magritte, Aboriginal artist Nym Bunduk and many more, this playful search-and-find book invites children to explore and interact with art. Friendly text written by Susie Brooks and fun questions encourage readers to examine each painting and to explain, very simply, what is happening in the picture.
A gallery of images at the end of the book gives further details about each painting, including where the original artwork can be viewed.
Susie Brooks
Susie Brooks lives in Los Angeles, CA with her husband, Justin, and of course, their two boys, Corgnelius and Stumphrey. She spends most of her time at home doing ordinary things like taking 400 photos a day of her dogs, hugging them, sniffing their corn chip paws, crying and wondering why they’re so perfect, watching them sleep, etc. In her spare time she enjoys going to concerts and music festivals with her friends.
