Alexis Perkins
Alexis wears many hats as a mother, entrepreneur, fitness instructor, event coordinator, and creator/producer of the 30-minute workout television show Fuzion Fitness.
One thing that these all involve is her passion for working with people.
She graduated magna cum laude from Norfolk State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and broadcast journalism. Alexis then went on to get her Group Exercise Certification and Personal Fitness Trainer Certification through the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She also continued her trainings and is currently licensed to teach Zumba® fitness and MixxedFit®. Alexis is also proud of coordinating the largest dance fitness event in her hometown of Hampton, Virginia, called Love Fest.
Alexis has traveled to many countries to teach Zumba® Master Classes in Europe and has since instructed in France, Italy, Switzerland, Serbia, Sweden, Budapest, Romania, Belgium, and more.

Tyshawna was born in Newark, New Jersey, and currently resides in Virginia as an artist, dancer, stylist and graphic designer. Tyshawna went to a performing arts high school called Newark Arts High where she was an art major. She then earned a master’s degree in architecture from Hampton University.
