Buried With Secrets takes place in the fictional town of WicksHaven, Arizona. The story is about five estranged friends: Tucker, Stacy, Richard, Jessica and Bianca. They are trying to survive their last two years of high school after their friend, Lauren Valdez, dies in a car explosion. Things begin to get weird after Lauren's funeral, as they start to receive strange phone calls, text messages and notes from an unknown person. The stranger informs them that he is Lauren Valdez's Killer and that he killed her because she couldn't keep her mouth shut. At the end of the story, they all learn that they have to play by this stranger's rules or then it's game over.

Dear Reader,

Hello, I am Lauren Valdez’s killer. I was just an ordinary person that was trying to make it through this wicked town in WicksHaven, Arizona. I never knew that this town would be filled with deceitful lies and betrayal. It was a pretty small town, so it was easy for words to fly around the air.  One thing that I’ve learned is, never to trust a liar with an innocent smile.  I never thought that all the secrets and lies would come back to bite me.  But I will try to leave that behind me as I tell you my secret.  But before I reveal my identity, I would like to tell you about a girl named Lauren Valdez.  She was killed five years ago in a car explosion.  After the detectives gathered evidence on the crime scene, they came to a conclusion that it wasn’t an accident. 

No one in WicksHaven, Arizona can be trusted. As people keep their lips shut and their feelings hidden.  But one thing is certain.  There are people that are out there that knows my identity and want to expose me for who I really am.  I won’t let that happen though.  The reason why no one wants to go to police is because I have things on them as well.  I blackmail them into doing my sinister dirty work.  You can’t trust anyone, not even the people that are the closest to you.  Even the people that you love.  In this town, it is so easy to mistake a six legged fox for a one legged bird.  But for now, why don’t we get back to the story, about the death of Lauren Valdez.

CHAPTER 1 THE DEATH OF LAUREN VALDEZ

It was a normal day in WicksHaven, Arizona.  Nothing seemed unusual.  The day had gone perfectly well until an unexpected explosion in DazeWood County, rocked the neighborhood.

Lauren was lying down on her bed talking to her best friend, Bianca Huffington, in her bed room.

Bianca, I don’t want to go to school tomorrow.

Why?

Because I know that Richard is going to be pissed off at me.

I vandalized his car.

Why did you do that?

Because I caught him cheating on me with that Stacy girl after school today.
