INTRODUCTION
Ray Crash
Corrigan claimed that over 3,500 films and television shows were partially or wholly filmed at his ranch from its beginnings in 1937 to 1964. It is extremely doubtful if there were that many productions which utilized his ranch as a location (he also claimed that half of all westerns used his ranch[1]). Over 450 films and about 500 television show episodes have been identified. While this is still not a complete list, it does contain a vast majority of productions which utilized the ranch.
What forms of visual, published entertainment was the ranch used for?
All forms!
Motion pictures and television shows were major contributors, but you could find the ranch in commercial advertisements, magazine and newspaper articles, in photography shoots, and any type of medium you can think of. Nor were these confined to G-rated endeavors. All levels of film and photographic activities are found in the historical archives of the ranch from innocent Disney-level to adult tripe-x. The ranch was a haven for 1940’s to 1960’s cheesecake, nude, and early stag-type films (see Modeling section). While many of these uses of the ranch will remain unknown, as many as have been found are included in the following filmographies of the ranch.
[1] A total of well over 3,000 western films were produced during the time period indicated, which means at least 1,500 films were shot at his ranch. That is a total prevarification as virtually all western films which used the Corrigan ranch have been identified and are listed in this filmography.
