    ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

This book is dedicated to the youth of this generation and generations to come. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been involved in youth ministry either as a youth or a youth leader, working in the community, academic setting, work environment, and church auxiliaries. My heart’s desire is to equip youth leaders to minister to the very best of their ability.

I am extremely honored and grateful that God would give me such passion for youth and youth leaders. Everything I am and have to offer is because of Him. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him (Phil. 2:13, NLT).

As with every project, business endeavor, and personal accomplishment, I’d like to thank my family and friends for always pushing me forward! Last, but definitely not least, I want to say thank you to my husband Darryl L. Grant, for always listening to my preliminary thoughts, ideas, and strategies.

Now that you’re familiar with the important people in my life, let’s dive in to make sure your youth ministry has a powerful and effective foundation.
