FOREWORD
I have personally known Elisha July as a creative writer of children’s stories, a publisher and in fact, as a brother in the literary industry. Little did I know inside him there lurks business acumen waiting to be unleashed.
Only after I got through this book that I realized the many gifts he has and this book confirms it.
I read The Anatomy of Achieving Success in Business at the very time when I longed for a mental transformation towards business. What profound guidance I got from July’s book!
The journey in the chapters leads to a satisfying end. It is interesting to note that businesses begin not with a dollar but from inside ourselves. That is the first score! The rest of the process unfolds smoothly once you learn the skills provided in this book.

INTRODUCTION
I read in the Bible where it says Where there is no vision, people perish
and again somewhere it says, My people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge
. I then asked myself, is it lack of vision or lack of knowledge that make people perish? It is my aim in this book to reconcile these two profound statements.
Over the years I have observed that when one wants to become an engineer, they study engineering, when one wants to become an accountant, they study accounting, when one wants to become a doctor they study medicine. The list is endless and it is not my intention to fill the pages of this book identifying different disciplines and their relevant areas of study. Please bear with me; I am using the word study with caution. When I say study, I am not necessarily referring to pursuing a formal education but am simply referring to a deliberate effort by an individual to acquire the necessary knowledge on their chosen areas. To my amazement it is only in entrepreneurship were I have seen people or almost multitudes of people who woke up just over one night and they are already entrepreneurs!
I wondered if it could be that entrepreneurship is so simple that it does not require any effort in studying it before one delves into action. If so, why then do we have so many wrecks along the way in this discipline than in any other discipline? Exhaustive research proves that behind every success there is a principle or a law that will have been observed. If these laws are universally applicable to all other disciplines, would entrepreneurship be exempted? Certainly not.
It is my aim in this book to lay down the basic principles that will get you started in entrepreneurship. Out there, there are many aspiring entrepreneurs and often times, the most asked question is ‘How do I start and run my own business successfully?’.
If this is your question or maybe you had already started but you are of the opinion that you missed something right from the start, it is not too late you can start all over again. To you this book is dedicated.
A lot has been said across the globe on how to start and run your own business. I discovered that everything sums up to the following three simple steps: Developing the entrepreneur within you, identifying your path to success and setting the mechanics for the dynamics to happen. These three steps form the three sections of this book. Kacper M. Postawski once said in life there are 3 fundamental steps to achieving anything, whether it is getting quality sleep, achieving
