1. THE NIGHT BEFORE
"The glitter in the sky looks as if I could scoop it all up in my hands and let the stars swirl and touch one another but they are so distant so very far apart that they cannot feel the warmth of each other even though they are made of burning."

It was a warm winter night in Romanzia, a cloudless sky filled with bright stars circling the full moon. The main street of the city of romance was crowded, people coming from different ways, gathering, and taking advantage of the excellent weather—one of the many nights when each person there seemed happily blessed.
A little girl, with her mother, waited for her cotton candy to be prepared by the man with the big white hat while observing an old lady walking her dog toward the bench for a little break. Two lovers sat, holding hands and laughing with glow in their eyes and bliss in their souls. Teenagers rode skateboards, passing them, jumping over boxes that have been set near the old theater building, and then rolling by the lovely small café where a businessman was having coffee and discussing plans with his future partner.

Sarah stepped out of the hot bath she had prepared— one that smelled like beautiful passionate love—put down her glass of champagne, and then dried her ravishing body with the hanging towel.
She walked out of the bathroom as she put her robe on and brushed her hair, all while gracefully transferring the flute glass from one hand to another. She then stood by the window of her cozy apartment, looking out at the joyful people on the street while thinking about him:
Noah, the love of her life, was thousands of kilometers away at that moment. He was flying back the next day from Farestan to celebrate Valentine’s Day with her.
She was thinking about the dress she would wear to the restaurant, the perfume she had bought and kept specially for tomorrow’s event, the beautifully wrapped PlayStation, and the many gifts he would be bringing her from Farestan. The twenty-five-year-old charming girl could see herself sitting at the table of the restaurant with him, listening to sweet and calm love songs, drinking wine, and laughing. She pictured the joy in both their eyes as they hold hands and share the kisses and hugs they have longed for after the time they had spent apart. She already wished that night would never end.

Excitement and joy surrounded the people on the streets, some with their guitars, singing old national songs out loud,
