THIS SHORT STORY IS taken from my series, BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB. Atlas Bellamy is the main character in Book 1, where he meets his wife, Meghan Moralez. He is featured at some level in all 7 books. He is, by far, one of the most favorite characters that I’ve created.

Then again, I think Atlas created himself.

The Story

MEGHAN BELLAMY EYED the kitchen counter, panic rising in her chest. One hand mashed over her breastbone, she completed a circle, her heels clicking on the porcelain tiles. Atlas? Where is my pie?

He gave no response, and she sighed. The enormous Bellamy mansion was the bane of her existence. When they’d married, she’d insisted he put in this smaller, more normal, kitchen and allow her to prepare her own foods. Until then, he’d made hired staff hike the distance from the professional one on the opposite side of the house. Ridiculous.

Exiting, she crossed through the lush living space. The tropical atmosphere provided by the garden outside sat at odds with the red and gold Christmas décor. Atlas had no opinion on that. As with the kitchen, he’d said she should do what she wanted, and so she had. With their young daughter’s avid help.
