FORWARD

We have always associated blackness with failure, negativity, and witchcraft. We have always associated darkness with less than, disapproval, and unattractiveness. We have always associated blackness with inequality, injustice, and incrimination. However, it is in the midst of the darkness that things began to adapt and organize. It is in the middle of the night that things start to grow and develop. It is in the midst of the darkness that things ultimately reproduce as in the story of the Black Diamond.

DIAMONDS

To start on the same page and in the same room- let's chat a little about diamonds. After studying rocks over the past years, I have found that diamonds are the hardest substance in nature and perhaps the most desired of famous jewels, but according to some, splinters from fallen stars, and tears from the gods. Nevertheless, one cannot deny that diamonds have a strong allure, one of the most beautiful and one of the most expensive precious stones that the world has ever seen.

Some experts believe that they know how the earth forms diamonds. Although there is a little discrepancy in their findings, all inevitably agree that for a diamond to be considered a rock, it must endure extreme pressure (fifty thousand times atmospheric pressure), approximately 124 miles underground. The strength and heat make the dusty black carbon that changes into the bright, clear crystal we call a diamond. After their formation, diamonds come to the earth's surface when volcanoes erupt. All of these steps require perfect timing and unusual circumstances. A few experts think that these extraordinary circumstances happened only three times in the earth's history: 3.3 billion years ago, 2.9 billion years ago, and 1.2 billion years ago.

In any event, diamonds have exceptional brilliance, a delightful quality known as fire, or dispersion (that is, the ability to take in white light and throwback flashes of color. The four Cs separate the diamond into four qualities known as the four Cs. The four Cs are color, clarity, cut, and carat.

Color. The closer a diamond is to being colorless, the higher its value. In the 1930s, diamonds were commonly called grade A, B, C. The current system today begins color grading with the letter D. Colors G, H, I, and J come next and described as white. The colors from K to Z are tinted (usually yellow or yellowish-brown.)

Those that are just lightly tinted—K, L, and M—are often said to set white. That means- lightly shaded, appearing white if set in yellow gold. However, you would notice their color if placed in white gold or platinum as one gets farther down the alphabet; the tinting gets more robust and the value lower. Until you get to the extreme, as the color becomes more luxurious, you have a fancy-colored diamond, rather than an off-colored one. Then the value starts going up again, as in the case of the black diamond.

Clarity is the size and number of inclusions inside of the diamond. The composition can be another mineral, a fracture, or, occasionally, avoid. Simply put, it is anything that will interfere with the free passage of light.

Just like with color, there are many clarity grades. They are judged by what an expert can see at ten power magnification, under ideal conditions.

The highest grade a diamond can get is flawless. That means no inclusions at ten power magnification.

Clarity grades use the letters VS, and I, which stands for minimal inclusion. The categories are VVSI1, (very, very slight inclusions one) VVS12, VSI1, VSI2, and SI2, which the naked eye cannot detect.

The cut is one of the most problematic properties to be judged, plus there are several factors to consider. The first one has to do with the brilliance of the gem. The gemstone's pavilion facets intend to act as mirrors, to reflect the light entering the stone, back toward the observer. However, the angles of the cut have a great deal to do with how efficiently they work. The ideal aspect for diamond pavilion facet is forty-one degrees that are usually quite convenient, based on the shape of a standard diamond crystal. Unfortunately, not all mined diamonds are in excellent proportions.

The Diamond Cutter faced compromising between maximum brilliance and maximum yield. The economics are such that if the cutter removes too much material from the original crystal, there is no profit. Hence, many diamonds get cut at less-than-ideal proportions. Diamonds have a high refractive index, which gives them their enormous brilliance. A little cheating here or there is insignificant.

Steal more, and you get a gem that doesn't stand up to others in terms of brilliance or fire. There are no standards for this because most jewelers are familiar with correct proportions and judge it from the shape.

The best test for most Diamond Cutters is to compare the diamond side by side with another diamond only. If you have two diamonds of the same grade and one is significantly brighter than the other, it's because of where the diamond cutter has cut it. There is no question about it. It is the cut that makes the difference.

Carats are, by far, the easiest of the factors to understand. The smaller diamonds are more common than the larger ones. Therefore, the smaller diamonds cost less. As the stone's clarity, Black Diamond- prescribed above- let us behold people in the same light, beyond race, as a significant variation.

Urban Dictionary by Nigel Clark

Doing a little research, and stumbled across the word Reset in the Urban Dictionary by Nigel Clark March 17, 2013, and I quote:

"Did you blackout, wake up, not remember shit... Slowly come back from temporary amnesia two weeks later you remember everything...But your mood you're not angry anymore nor happy your ego is gone u know what happened.

You probably got too angry and publicly viewed as unsafe, so someone drugged your ass Shit sucks. I am sorry it happened to me also.

I got reset.

I cannot remember VIVIDLY ... I can remember, though it's not the same. These people are monsters they didn't ask me didn't tell me they just RESET me."

Hold your finger there. I found it interesting that the definition parallels with the saga and timing to rerelease the book.

RESET

Also, reset is an evolving military term in other sources, describing an equipment refurbishment process. The military term is somewhat like the computing term, to clear any pending errors or events and bring a system to reasonable condition or initial state.

The military term reset is unlike its finance and computing counterparts in that the army usage anticipates three related components: repairing, replacing, and recapitalizing. Military reset, in simplest terms, is intended to reverse the effects of stress on all equipment. Keep your finger right there as I demonstrate how symbolic and parallel that word relates to the dream in BLACK DIAMOND- Reset.

Sage McKinley

Let me introduce you to Sage McKinley again, the character portrayed in the story. Sage is a spiritual guide but doesn't understand the power of her mantle. Also, she is an analogy of Black Diamond through timing and unusual circumstances, which becomes a discovery of her most exclusive property. The process of being struck by extreme pressures from the consequences of her life's choices leaves her in despair. The battle of good and evil, right and wrong, the high road, or the road to compromise becomes inevitable. Albeit, one experience with the Light catapulted her into a global presence for God's kingdom. Although her immaturity, lack of understanding, and consequential despair to follow appeared as a setback, contrary, push the reset button, giving her another chance to Do it Again.

Sage's dusty black carbon-copy experience turns into extraordinary nuggets called the Black Diamond.

Do It Just One More Time.

That was nearly ten years ago. My mother's last wish on her death bed. Suppose she could muster up the strength to utter those words in the face of death. Indeed, I could deliver in the face of a pandemic. Do it one more time, although the book and stage production were far from significant, COVID 19 made it possible to reset and do it again. Who would have thought that we would live to witness the entire world sent to time out as children in preschool? Many theories are going around, but most people haven't a clue what to believe. They know its invisible, and its killing loads of people. They understand social distancing and the wearing of a mask, but could there be more? Could this invisible enemy be why so many people were waiting around in my initial account of Black Diamond? I believe those chosen, as you will see in the recount of Black Diamond Reset, received the impartation of the Light to fight against the antagonist of our time. The dream may be a little far, fetched, but isn't COVID 19, a pandemic, and quarantine? If I'm not mistaken, it's scriptural that God daily loads us up with benefits. Let's delve a little deeper.

Covid19 took most of us by storm. But can I tell you, was I praying for something to hit this place? Not that I'm a prophet of doom and gloom, but too much lawlessness, immorality, and perversion in the earth. Unfortunately, much senseless death, but isn't there in friendly wars? The embrace of artificial intelligence over human lives and how we knew life is notetaking. The pandemic separated my husband in the United Kingdom and myself in America. Also, canceling the MMOB Experience and workshops on the island of Jamaica, WI. The quarantine caused many of us to reach for something meaningful. I decided to press the reset button, dust the covers of Black Diamond, and Do it one more time.
