- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I have used this book to explore authors unfamiliar to me, and come away with some real gems, like Wilma Dykeman's The Tall Woman. If you don't have time to study for an MFA in literature focusing on Appalachian authors, this book will provide a short cut.
