About this ebook
CAPE TOWN, THE MOTHER CITY a book by JULIAN BOUND
A photographic journey through South Africa's founding city of Cape Town from National Geographic contributor and award winning documentary photographer Julian Bound.
Featuring the vast ranging landscapes of Table Mountain, the Atlantic coastline and the Cape of Good Hope, to the cityscape of Cape Town's Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, 'Cape Town, The Mother City' also presents an insight into the city's history with documentary footage of District Six and the Langa Township.
With a chapter on Cape Town's famous wine lands, this photographic guide also offers an insight into the wildlife within the Cape Town region, where African Penguins feed within the secluded bays of Boulders Beach and lions roam the semi-desert areas of Cape Town's surrounding landscape.
