A post-apocalyptic science-fiction novel that is all the more troubling because it was written so long ago - 1889 - but deals with climate change and difficult relationships with Iran. The tale centers around a group of travelers from 2959 who have discovered what are the ruins of a civilization. Disturbing reading but fascinating.
