    Lost

Language is a thing of beauty…the meaning of a word can express so much in so many different ways - for instance, the word Lost.

    I’ve lost 10 pounds - great celebration!

I got lost today - begs the question physically, mentally, or emotionally.

I’ve lost my gloves, an umbrella, a book, my job - all things that can be replaced.

I’ve lost my parents, my sister, my brother, my child - all loved ones are irreplaceable.

I’ve lost my way - again physical, mental, or emotional?

Some items are not really lost - they are either hiding or just not with us at the moment

We can always find gloves or a job, and we never go looking to replace the 10 pounds we lost…

So don’t spend time looking for something that may not return - just embrace and accept and deal with the new!

I make this observation only because I have no idea how to find the 2 I lost - going from 5’7 to 5’5" - and if you happen to find them somewhere no worries - I’m happy?

I kinda like being a bit shorter :)…

and by the way…when someone says get lost - lose them and go have an Adventure!

Or maybe for just a little while you will get Lost in these stories.

She viewed the face that now reflected none of the cruelty he had subjected her to and nudged the muscular arm that had left so many bruises, to ensure her husband was truly and unquestionably dead then proceeded to consider her options. Calling the police was out of the question, they would tote her off to jail in a heartbeat, and yet not calling them presented the issue of explaining his absence.

Cassandra turned and strolling into the kitchen stopped at the dilapidated fridge to pull out a bottle of white wine, she poured a large glass and as she sipped at it an idea began to formulate in her mind, which she first rejected then reconsidered and finally decided.

Fifteen minutes later through sheer will, her diminutive figure dragged his body to the area where he usually dressed his illegal kills of venison and other miscellaneous meats, it was perfect since it was already covered in a bloody mess and she smiled at the irony.

Cassie this pork is delicious raved Lucinda at the BBQ the following day.

Yep agreed Harry, helping himself to another huge portion of the delectable meat.

I only cooked it Richard provided the meat himself, Cassandra replied trying not to wince at the abbreviated use of her name and inwardly smiling at his meat provision.

Unusual he’s missing his own party. Where is he by the way? asked John as he helped himself to another of the pork burgers.

Cassandra had considered this carefully all night, and so replied. "It couldn't be helped, Sonora County police showed up and said he had to
