About the Book
What is it like to be trapped on a planet dying from the last heat of global warming? Experience it for yourself before it really happens to you. In this political satire about the prehistoric Moon government’s failure to come to grips with the issue, feel the intense emotion of wanting to get off the little planet and go to the primitive Earth, see the interpersonal conflict and corruption that puts the little globe beyond the point of no return, and lift off with the younger generation who must deal with their immaturity in populating the new Earth. See the dramatic end of the old Moon government, as a scientist with common sense takes over and tries to save everything. He deploys the gigantic ACM,
government-speak for the Atmospheric Cooling Machine.
Can you predict how that idea turned out?
Dedication
This mini book is desperately dedicated to the rising generation which will undoubtedly perish if nothing is done to stop global warming.
To old public servants
who help friends and influence people to gain wealth while it lasts to the detriment of those who follow, know that the younger generation will no longer allow you to live out the remainder of your life in luxury, committing the rest of us to mass planetary suicide.

Acknowledgement
I would like to thank Dr. Leland J. Foshag of St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, for operating on my left leg, thus allowing me to put my foot up for weeks with nothing to do. So, I wrote this book.
Humans are physically among the weakest creatures on Earth.
Thin, walking upright, brain on top, and eyes looking upward.
Did we originate from the Moon or from someplace
even lighter?
The Author
Chapter 1
On that hotbox day, the Moon’s temperature reaching sweltering levels, Lumar Hansik saw his son Geron scaling the science compound gate and come bounding toward him. Each step was a long jump. Father and son did a Moon-style semi-hug, placing their hands on each other’s shoulders lightly, knowing they would never see each other again.
Dad, I’ll think of you when I look back at the Moon from up there,
Geron said, pointing skyward. They both peered up, Geron with dark brown eyes intense with tears, and his father’s tightly focused eyes alert with purpose. Through the thinning Moon atmosphere, high above the tan smog on the horizon, the full Earth was blue with brushed wispy-white clouds.
I am rooting for you,
Hansik said in an encouraging tone, his forehead wet with sweat. So many plans made in so little time. But you are prepared.
He scrutinized Geron’s muscular arms and legs. You can release your ankle and wrist weights. I hope you completed your core training.
A look of concern crossed his face. But where are your wife and child?
They aren’t far behind,
said Geron. I ran ahead because I wanted a moment with you alone.
He put his head down but then gazed back up at Hansik, saying, What if we don’t make it?
You will never know what hit you,
Hansik said. The lines on Geron’s forehead scrunched up. Hansik, realizing his mistake, said, "When you make it, you will be conscious. If you don’t, death will be as sudden as a sonic boom. But don’t worry about what you can’t control. Live your Earth life moment to moment. You’re an able-bodied man. You can do this—and it will get easier. He paused.
Your youngster, Tiago, will help you by adjusting quickly to Earth’s heavy gravity."
But I need Cruis there too,
Geron said, running both hands through his black hair. I told you that he wants to come with his wife and baby but knows his father Cronus wouldn’t allow it.
Tiago, interrupting, ran from the gate, his mother Jena skipping to catch
