About this ebook
In the next Mitch Rapp thriller, a bioterrorist threat threatens an America already weakened by internal divisions.
The head of ISIS, Sayid Halabi, survived Mitch Rapp’s attack on him, but while he convalesced, he plotted. Once healed, Halabi kidnaps a brilliant Yemeni microbiologist and forces him to produce anthrax. ISIS releases videos of his progress and uses them to stir up hysteria in the States in the midst of an extremely divisive presidential election.
ISIS contracts with a Mexican drug cartel to smuggle the anthrax into the US, but the anthrax is really just a feint. Unknown to anyone but Halabi’s team, he also kidnapped people infected with the virus with the plan to use the drug cartels’ human trafficking capability to smuggle these infected people into the US. If he succeeds, it would trigger a pandemic that would kill untold millions.
Mitch and Irene Kennedy are, of course, on the case. But their ability to act is weakened by the fact that the man who is likely to be the next president despises them. When the DEA stumbles upon a shipment of anthrax coming into California, though, the current president has no choice but to give Mitch carte blanche to go after both the smugglers and ISIS.
Mitch must infiltrate the drug cartel that has partnered with Halabi in a black ops mission compromised by political maneuvers and threatened by an unprecedented bioterrorism attack.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5While a factious presidential campaign consumes the United States, ISIS sets a nefarious plan in motion with the kidnapping of a French microbiologist and a plan to unleash a weaponized virus in the United States using a Mexican drug cartel to smuggle the bioweapon across the border. Mitch Rapp may be the only operative capable of terminating the plan before Sayid Halabi wreaks havoc on the American people with a deadly pandemic. But Washington’s aristocracy continues playing their dirty politics and Mitch finds himself alone in his quest to save the country he loves. In this, the eighteenth outing for Mitch Rapp, the stakes couldn’t be higher but the stark tale unfolds as fans of the series might expect. However, some surprising plot twists take the story in an unexpected direction. Readers new to the series will find sufficient backstory here; Mitch Rapp fans are likely to be thrilled with his latest adventure. It’s dark and gritty, compelling and violent, believable and terrifying. Readers will find it difficult to set this one aside before turning the final page.Recommended.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Lethal Agent by Kyle Mills, is absolutely fantastic. I am proud to say that I was chosen as a Mitch Rapp Ambassador, and telling everyone about this next chapter in the Mitch Rapp series is an honor. I am a huge fan of this series and I wait, counting the days for each book and then, once I am done, I wait with baited breath for the next. Well this book, Lethal Agent, seems so very current in our political world and therefore is kind of scary. There is a toxic presidential election with America weakened by internal divisions. Politicians focusing entirely on maintaining their own power and privilege and then ISIS kidnaping a French microbiologist, forcing him to begin manufacturing anthrax with plans to weaponize the deadly virus. If that isn’t enough, Mitch Rapp heads to Mexico to infiltrate the Mexican cartels and track down the ISIS leader who he failed to kill during their last confrontation. Of course Washingtons politicians are only out for their own good and try to get in Mitch, his men and Irene Kennedy’s way.As I read the book it was as if some of this was, or could be happening now. Kyle has such a great grasp of the diversity of the American politicians and politics, that I felt as if this could be coming our way of we don’t start paying attention and Washington doesn’t remember that we are a country united.Mitch seems more aggressive and tightly wound in this book and it makes you wonder will he ever be able to have a life that doesn’t require him to give all to our country. He has such loyalty to his friends, family and to America. I hope we have someone in our service that is like Mitch. I doubt it, but one can only hope.Thank you Kyle Mills for never letting Mitch Rapp fade away, for keeping him strong, and continuing a favorite series without having us feel as if another author took over. You have stayed true to the characters and we truly appreciate it.This series needs to be read in order to understand all of the nuances. This is the 18th book in the series. Lethal Agent comes out September 24th 2019 at your favorite book stores.
