If Abortion is Good for America and the World--Why the Opposition?
()
About this ebook
Pseudo religious ideas are used to pass laws that prohibit its option. But abortion is essential to ensure that children will be born into families that want them. At lest as important is the effect on overpopulation and its result--climate change.
Few realize that God told Moses that abortion is required in at least one situation--and tells the priests how to do it! But there is much more that pro-choise people should know.
Dr. Bob O'Connor
Dr. O'Connor is a native of Los Angeles--having grown up in the "ghetto" of South-Central LA. His parents had eighth grade educations. His father died when the author was eight years old. This forced the family onto the welfare rolls while his mother went to school to learn clerical skills. Dr. O'Connor's university education was at UCLA where he earned a BS and Master's degree and did two years of doctoral level work. He then changed his major and his university, gaining his doctorate at the University of Southern California--in philosophical and social foundations of education. His interest in travel led to living and teaching in New Zealand, India, Canada and the Netherlands, culminating in a twenty year residence in Norway. His experience in various cultures has prompted many of the ideas and questions he presents in the book.

If Abortion is Good for America and the World--Why the Opposition? - Dr. Bob O'Connor
THERE ARE NO SOCIETAL REASONS TO FORBID ABORTIONS.
Ø Allowing abortion reduces taxes (for education, health care such as Medicaid, welfare payments, and judicial and prison expenses),
Ø More children contribute to overpopulation and climate change,
Ø Climate change, with global warming, increases famines and decreases fresh water,
Ø Disallowing abortion increases the unhappiness of women who do not want a child at that time,
Ø Not allowing it decreases the contributions to society of women who want to further their education,
Ø Forbidding it increases the number of unwanted and abused children,
Ø More abused children increase the amount of criminal and other anti-social behavior.
