Chapter 1

Richards was a millionaire doing business in London with so much company and money; he was packing his bags when he heard several vehicles pulling up directly under the window of his room. He was in a hotel that has ten floors. His room was on the sixth floor. He ran to the window and peered out.  He saw three SUV vehicles with men pouring out of them. They were dressed in suits and each carried guns.

How did they find me? Richard thought to himself. He rushed to the bed and lifted his backpack. He pulled out a wrapped package full of money and stared at it. Inside with the money was a specially made dagger — a relic of supernatural powers, and very important. The money is meant for a multi-million-dollar project he is working on.

Ordinarily, he should have sent this money to the bank, but it was far too important and too dangerous to be sent. Anything could happen to it. It could be stolen and fall into the wrong hands, and that must not happen. Only one man can protect it, his best friend from when he was in the army. Kayden. Apart from the fact that Kayden could protect the money, the money itself was related to him. He brought out his passport on which showed that his name was Richard Paulson.
