Chapter One
The light of the moon shined over the murky woodland areas. Animal sounds echoed through the marshy open spaces. Lizards and snakes moved in and out of the waters. The chills of the night conquered the eyes of the larger predators. The darkness enveloped with sounds of the sea stretching into the mainland stream. The waters streamlined into the mouth of the ocean spurning out the impurities. The moon excelled heavily over the center of the waters and five figures moved out from the waters. Their sapphire eyes glowed in the darkness as their olive skin contrasted to a chocolate pelt of fur covering their bodies in all the right places. One by one they moved out of the waters clapping their hands in unison. Their voluptuous hide behind the pelts. Each woman began to dance in a spherical motion. They clap their hands in unison dancing. Their matted dark brown hair fell to their sides. They continued to dance and clap under the moonlight.
They sang in harmonic sounds that left their mouths calling out to the moon and sea.
"Shine, oh sweet mother, take the radiance with you all.
Take these heights and sing all pleasures of the sea.
Your daughters become one with thee and may the waters rise.
We swim in the night and pleasure the sounds of the past.
Travelers hear our plea and follow the yonder of the stars.
Treasures of the stars all for us and sing the adornments of the sea.
Guide us to the bounds of mighty seas, pray and play will be our game.
We are the daughters of the sea, love and soaring to the effortless night.
We are ride on the west, east, north and south tides to come home.
Sing and dance with oh mother.
Glorious is your pride and hallelujah to our great sea.
Shine, oh sweet mother, take the radiance with you."
As the song ended, the women danced to clapping once more then stopped. They marched to the woodland area and sat down under the moon continuing to sing in acapella. They began to beat the ground like a drum and humming with one another.
"Drums of the sea and springs of life dive deep into the blue,
Sing to the merry of the sounds of our home.
We are of the night and day. Take heed to the beats.
Tides of the past swing with us now.
Tides of the present gather us home and live in.
Tides of the future bring us to the bay and welcome the mother to our fortune.
We are the belles of the seas and take to the sands like water lilies.
Sing to us oh mother, for life is of huntress.
We are songstresses of the seas and maidens of the dance."
They stood up and clapped their hands. The five women began to dance in a sensualistic manner. They waved their hands and began to take off their pelts as the moonlight luster on their naked bodies. One by one they bellowed out a long acapella sound together as they danced in a circle around one another. The women’s eyes blazed to one another. The night continued on as the sounds of the women sang in different tongues.
The songs continued to leave their heavenly mouths. Sounds of the lizards and mysterious creatures howled in the distance. Glowing eyes appeared in the distance and a lone howl rebounded in the distance. The five women’s eyes flamed and they stood up to listen for the howls in the distance. One of the women with a jade pendent ran into the woods. The glowing eyes and howls came closer. The women picked up their pelts and ran back into the waters afraid. They glanced at one another and began to dive deep into the waters.

The moon continued to shine high in the sky. Green marshy algae surfaced to the surface. Some men in hunters clothing held their rifles close to them. Shrieks resounded in the area. The men turned on their feet to hear the deranged sounds far off. One of the men among them, stood tall and twitched his pointed nose. He sighed heavily and ruffled his dirty short beachy onyx hair. The man wore a jean jacket, dark shirt and jean pants. His masculine hands reloaded his rifle, ready for the sound of a predator to come close. Fireflies flew around the woodlands as little beacons. The men moved more in resting their hands on the clips ready to fire. The sounds came closer and one of the men shot in the air. The howls grow more distant and they continued to march in the direction of some prey. One of the hunters pointed to the side from seeing a deer jump in the moonlight giving its position away. Slow and stealthy the men moved one by one into the woods further in.
The moon moved behind the clouds. The light began to fade over the woods and the deer ran into the thicket. A man glanced around to see something reflect in the distance. The howls of the wolves came closer. Other men moved closer to it. The man began to walk further in and stopped upon seeing the light glimmer in and out. Slowly, he strolled, moving with his rifle close at hand. The sounds of the woods became vague. Hoots resonated in the area. The moon moved from the clouds, blinding over the area, for a short time. The glimmer of the jade pendent caught his attention once more. He stopped and picked it up with the pelt cautiously.
The woman watched from the bushes glancing at the man.
`He began to leave but stopped and pointed his rifle in the direction of the woman.
Who is there?
he asked afraid.
The woman moved from the bushes and stood in the open. The moon’s light centered around her. The man gasped looking at her.
You have found my pelt,
she said calmly.
He nodded gradually, walking over to her in a trance. As he strode closer to her, his manhood tightened in his pants seeing a naked woman in front of him. He was turned on seeing her long hair barely cover her breasts and pubic hair. Her hourglass shape remained visible as the moon glossed in a different direction. She sauntered closer to him smiling softly to him.
He shook a little trying to shake off her enchantment on him. The man opened and closed her eyes glancing at her. He handed her the pelt back. She affectionately beamed at him and bowed her head.
Thank you, sir,
she tilted her head like a child in wonder.
He gulped looking her body up and down, I am Aiden.
She moved closer to him and kissed his cheek, thank you, Aiden.
What is your name?
he asked nervously.
I am Velouria,
she said humbly.
Aiden looked around himself and paused. He began to ponder what kind of situation he had walked into. Aiden was alone with a mysterious naked woman in the forest. To any man this would be a sexual fantasy. He was just like any other man wanting to commit to the task. His eyes glazed a few seconds then he shook his head realizing he was a part of a hunting party. Aiden couldn’t explain this to the other men nor share her with them. He unexpectedly stared at her blinking his eyes, fully understanding that she was alone in the woods and could be attacked.
Velouria tilted her head once more looking up at Aiden and turned to see three wolves at flashing their teeth at them. She held her pelt to her closely afraid.
Aiden moved her in back of him and held onto his rifle. The jade pendent fell to the ground. Aiden pointed his rifle at the wolves and began to shoot at them. Sounds bounced off the area. The wolves howled and showed their teeth. One wolf lay dead on the ground. The wolves began to attack and Aiden rapidly shot at the other one. The lone wolf now howled and ran off. Velouria shook with fear behind Aiden. He turned around and saw the fear in her eyes. He took off his coat and wrapped it around her.
She glanced up at him still in shock. He rubbed her shoulders trying to comfort her.
Are you alright, Velouria?
he asked hesitant of her reaction.
Tears fell down her face and she slowly hugged him, you saved me.
He hugged her back tightly and glanced up at the moon, I did.
She hugged then moved her head back to see the wolves running away from the hunters in the distance. She sighed and looked around her, fearful of what would come next.
Aiden picked up his rifle and held
