About this ebook
Kel and his twin sister Isabel have traded places before—to escape lessons, to prank their royal cousins, and for Kel to flirt with handsome men at royal balls. But when Isabel runs away in tears shortly before her proxy wedding to Prince Darin of Pervayne, Kel takes her place, knowing he could cause serious problems between Pervayne and their home kingdom of Karleed if discovered.
Isabel will show up—eventually—and take her rightful place and no one will ever know. The question is, will Isabel arrive before Kel falls hopelessly in love with the servant his sister's husband has sent along? What if Kel isn't the only one pretending to be someone else?

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Such a great read, with just the right amount of drama.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I felt like the idea of the story was great, but the execution left a lot to be desired. Although I liked the book, it didn't manage to keep my interest at all times and I had to pass pages on more than one occasion - being certain that nothing major or unexpected would happen in them. Anyways, for a light read this one can be lovely, but if you're looking for a fast paced, intriguing plot you might be disappointed.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved it! Was such a charming and sweet fantasy read with a queer twist ❤️ 10/10 would recommend
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Pointless fluff with zero real problems and the only issue resolved in mere pages. It’s not that you can’t have a book that is filled with fluff, I’ve read plenty, it’s that the solutions to problems- be they as important as an international treat or a noon tea- need to feel meaningful for anyone to care about the characters. Powerful, weak, smart, stupid, it doesn’t matter, I can identify with all of them, but not if you have the biggest issue solved by accidentally falling asleep in a thunderstorm and having a king change his mind without any explanation on why he decided the first way. It’s stupid. Don’t waste your time on this book. It’s not even bad, bad can be entertaining, this is worse than bad: it’s bland and forgettable. I wish I could get my time back.
