Escritor, traductor y analista. Doctor en Literatura Hispánica por El Colegio de México. Profesor Investigador en la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Unidad Xochimilco, en la Ciudad de México, y Profesor Invitado en New York University.Presidente de la Asociación Mexicana de Teoría y Análisis Cinematográfico.
