About this ebook
05.09William Calhoun is found by a representative of an ancient race of magic beings calling themselves Mailmages. He tells fourteen-years-old William that each wizard kin has a mailmage kin serving them and inseparably connected to them by ancient magic, and that he himself is a mailmage of the Calhoun kin and that William and he are the last representatives of their kins. With his help, William returns to the world of wizards, where his ancestors from the Calhoun kin had lived for centuries, and finds out that an ancient and mysterious place called the ‘Magic Feather Graveyard’ has chosen him as its new Keeper and now he is connected to it by an unbreakable Magic Contract.
In this world, completely new to him, he finds friends and with their help, he learns the secrets of his kin he knows almost nothing about. He also reconsiders the mysterious legacy from his unknown ancestor – the Magic Feather.
He is scared by the fact that unlike other wizards, he got his Magic Feather not at the age of 7, but in the first days after his birth, and it has been growing together with him all these years.
William enrols in the Preparatory Course of magic, where he learns more and more about the hidden abilities of his Magic Feather, which is also a real living being with a memory, a personality, and an incredible power. William’s world changes completely, but soon it turns out that together with William, a powerful killer of wizards has returned to the Wizard Community and William is his #1 target.
