Cuentos Sencillos - J Martinez
The Secret Garden
26098.pngIn a place far from here is very beautiful garden. It is a large island surrounded by water.
This garden has many flowers, plants and different animals. It also has a house with 6 rooms.
There are 6 people living in the garden. 2 males and 4 females.
Men know how to maintain the garden and women know how to keep the house.
Many people want to go, but do not know what will happen.
Men laugh because they know that women are afraid. Women know that there is something strange. There are many stories. This is just one of many.
Inside, in the garden there are many strange things. We know that, at night you can hear people singing and dancing but do not know where. The house is dark and all the lights are off in the garden.
But very late at night after everyone goes to bed, garden lights are lit. You can hear a man singing songs of love and a woman mourn until sunrise.
When the sun is out, everything is quiet and all the flowers are more beautiful than yesterday. Nobody knows what happens but it is very strange.
Maybe it’s the love of man and woman’s tears that makes flowers bloom.
I do not know.
