    Vickie was exhausted. Her parents had sent her and Kyle to their aunt’s farm for the whole summer vacation. Vickie reeked of manure and was nearly burned by the heat.

    Finally their aunt called them in for some lemonade. Kyle was inside in a blink of an eye but Vickie was too exhausted too move. She trudged inside and poured out the golden liquid into a glass, carrying it up to her bedroom. Kyle was waiting for her with a jar of cookies.
