About this ebook

I know I am not the first woman who has encountered defeat, belligerence, defiance, baffling opposition, unfounded court decisions and rulings in the legal justice system. And, I am sure Im not the first woman to question whether there is an internal brotherhood/sisterhood among counsel resulting in what I believe is unfair decisions, despite facts or findings.

Legal Injustice shares the authors experiences dealing with attorneys in the local court system, ultimately leading her to the question: Does justice truly prevail?

Jean Criss has more than 25 years of experience in the digital media industry and is now living her own dreams as an entrepreneur. Criss is the single mother of two teenagers and resides in northern, New Jersey. She designed and self-published Legal Injustice, drawing upon her full media experience.

    About the Author

    The End

    Dedication

This story is dedicated to my children. As always, they continue to be an inspiration to me each and every day as I seek new creative ways to find the answers to life and its uncertainty.

My daughter is like a beautiful sunflower that continues to bloom all year long, smelling like a wonderful flower, always cheerful, and ever so precious in her own loving way.

My son is the foundation and youngest in our family tree of three; he provides the root, the laughter and the necessary bond that allows us to maintain our strength.

They both give me courage as they never truly get emotional over life’s challenges, even with some of the decisions the court system made against our family. They rose above it and walked the high road, like many adults do even in their pre-teen years. I don’t know many children this mature that can handle life so courageously and so well. This book is dedicated to them. I love them both so very, very much.

Who Steals The Goose From Off The Common

    By: Anon

The law locks up the man or woman,

Who steals the goose from off the common.

But leaves the greater villain loose,

The law demands that we atone

When we take things we do not own.

But leaves the lords and ladies fine

Who take things that are yours and mine.

The poor and wretched don’t escape

If they conspire the law to break.

This must be so but they endure

Those who conspire to make the law.

The law locks up the man or woman,

Who steals the goose from off the common.

And geese will still a common lack

Till they go and steal it back.

Who steals the common from off the goose?
