The blonde cashier who'd worked the register for the past two years flashed her co-worker a toothy grin. She was opinionated when it came to men and she didn't mind sharing her expertise on the subject.

Infiniti Collins dragged her smoky gray eyes away from the swinging double doors of the beer distributor. She hated when Payton gave bad advice which occurred often. Her ill-considered words never helped anyone.

Stop speculating about me. Mind your damn business. I'm not interested in anyone.

She was obviously lying, but there was not point in telling the truth to a habitual gossip. It was difficult enough stomaching the rumors about other people. She didn't need to add herself to the list.
