Perry Carter
Perry Carter was born January 17, 1963 in Lake Providence Louisiana amid the Civil Rights crisis of the South. He grew in the recently desegregated schools of East Carroll Parish, the 5th of eight siblings. of a single parent, Artelia Carter. He graduated from Lake Providence Senior High School in 1981 and went on acquire an AAS degree and BS Degree in Business Management. He married Elizabeth Jackson of Lake Providence, his wife of 25 years and went on to rear five sons, Perry,, Chancellor, Forrest, Phillip, and Lang. Currently he has three sons, Perry, Chancellor, and Phillip actively serving in the United States Armed Forces, with his oldest Perry, a naval officer. Phillip serves in the United States Navy, while Chancellor is a United States Marine. His youngest son Lang, attends college in Lubbock, Texas. Perry Carter is a former member of the United States Army and a member of Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society for Business majors. Perry Currently lives in Carrollton Texas. Knowing the struggles faced by the youth of today from his own experiences as a child and father, Perry is the Author of Too Much Blue!" with other books in the works, "The Rains on Black Opal", and "Its Your Call".
