About this ebook
An enemy army has surrounded the remote interstellar colony of Bright Hope and cut off all contact with the outside world. Within the beleaguered dome, supplies are scarce and food is strictly rationed. In the midst of this privation, a woman is put on trial for the crime of becoming pregnant.

He attended the 1973 Clarion West science fiction writing workshop and is a member of Science Fiction Writers of America.
