Captain Dullus was standing in the crew lounge a small area where they had meals and socialized. He was holding on to a plastic bag. I want it all people. Cards, dice, and other gambling items were going into the bag. He watched them on the monitor in his cabin and it took awhile for him to figure what they were doing. The games were ancient, and all the other crew members used the VR devices. He expected it among the crew members. There was a considerable amount of down time since the Endurance was so automated it could operate with just four people on duty. Yes, sir, several crew members responded. He moved quickly to the lift and was at the lowest level. There were four decks on the Endurance.

When he got to the bridge, there was an object on the main viewing screen. It was dark like a black box just sitting in space.

Is that a ship? Dullus asked the XO Lieutenant Briggs.

Don’t know sir. I made two slight course corrections, and it followed us.

Dullus sat down in at his command station. There were three monitors where he could bring up all the cameras outside and inside the ship or bring
