Sexist. A fine concept: "monster trucks", the really big trucks in our lives and the tasks they do. But virtually all of them have masculine names or are described with masculine pronouns. Why, because they're big? Because books about trucks are supposed to appeal only to boys, who might be offended by the presence of the female pronoun? Alas I cannot recommend this book.

Illustrations and easy-to-read text depice a wide variety of trucks, including bulldozers, eighteen-wheelers, garbage trucks, and fire trucks.
