About this ebook

Legends have to be born and they all have childhoods.

Sean is an ordinary boy, or he would be if he did not have telepathic powers that he could not control. After a frightening encounter with his former teacher, his powers attract the attention of Scarlet, a talented telepath and the only one who might have what it takes to teach him to control his abilities. Her past is filled with similar apprehensions from normal humans, she hopes to overcome her own fears and not instill them on the boy she took under her wing.

With Lone Wolfe are his two friends; Jena, who he has known since birth and Curtis. Jena is a gifted telepath and an empath who can heal any injury and Curtis is starting to awaken to his own unusual power. Together, they navigate the waters of normal elementary school life.

Enjoy this prelude short story of Templar: Order and Chaos, the story of Lone Wolfe, Jena and Curtis begins with their childhood, the journey that they take in that tome was shaped right here in their past. They are the Children of Legend.

I am currently a Systems Engineer living in Greeley Colorado with my wife; Barbara, my son; Sean, and my daughter; Alice; They are the greatest people in my life. I enjoy camping with my friends and family, swimming, anything with electronics, and if i don't write i go insane and drag my friends with me! I was born in Pueblo Colorado in the early eighties. My parents raised me from the age of two on copious amounts of science fiction and documentaries. I have no siblings, none that have ever lived in my home anyway, and even though my parents are loving people I never had a lot of time with them doing things parents and kids normally did. I also never dealt with a lot of my cousins, aunts and uncles. Being able to read and write from an early age I usually passed my time drawing and writing. I did more writing after the fourth grade. I was accepted into a gifted and talented program at the elementary school I went to. Our G/T teacher was a professor in childhood education and anthropology. She saw my greatest talent was coming up with fantastic stories and drawing them out. My biggest weakness was my writing. She had me write a description to a drawing I made then made me write a story and re write it; adding details and spice to the story each time. Eventually it became habit and I have HAD to write ever since. My inspiration for my stories mainly comes from dreams that I had. I remember most of my dreams (can never be sure if I remember all of them but I have several dreams every night and I remember those). Some of the dreams become an obsession in the back of my head. They grow and grow. I have to eventually write out the dream and expand upon it. That is usually how my stories are born. You could say that writing is literally my dream. My greatest challenge in this industry is still writing. I apologize for any spelling errors that make it out to my novels. While I am a sole supporter of my family I don't have the budget to hire an editor to go through my work. At the moment I solely edit my book with help from my wife and the sister I never had as well as a relative with an English degree. If the situation improves I will have an editor go through my works. It is a study in contradictions but in the end, my full name translated into modern English would give it way. It literally means Born of fire Wagon Builder by the stream.
