Preface
This book was written to assist families with getting into good financial standing, and to equip them with basic financial knowledge and tools. They can take action today by setting up their finances to live a better life. I wanted this book to be a road map or a guide showing people how to take immediate action with their finances. We live in an era where things move fast and people want information they can apply immediately, so that was my intention in writing this book, it is short, simple, and to the point. Many friends have asked me to get together with them to discuss their finances; however, I don’t have the time to talk to every friend or family member to share basic financial information so here in these pages are the basics to get you started.
What to Expect From This Book
In this simple financial book, you and your family will learn basic financial information as well as money consciousness giving you and your family the tools you need to be financially successful. Some of the things you will learn about are emergency accounts, investment accounts, buying stocks, buying a home, retirement accounts, college funds, assembling a team of professionals, and gaining the money consciousness to win. The main purpose of this book is to empower you with financial knowledge and actionable steps so that you can live a more fulfilled and peaceful life knowing that your finances are being taken care of. It is written in a way that covers the what to do, why you need to do it, and how to do it. Enjoy!
Dedication
I would like dedicate this book to all of the unrepresented people who need financial guidance and who have at one point or another struggled financially because they did not have the necessary tools, information, or money available to protect themselves. You are my primary inspiration and reason for writing this book. I would also like to dedicate this book to my beautiful fianceé Yarubys D. Gonzalez for her support, patience, unconditional love, and for believing and sticking with me through tough times.
I love you Yarubys.
Thank you.
