About this ebook
Women and the Gallows 1797 – 1837 brings new insights into their lives and the events that led them to their deaths, and includes chapters on baby murder among domestic servants, counterfeiting, husband poisoning, as well as the infamous Eliza Fenning case.
Plus, for the first time, all the stories of the women have been compiled in a unique chronology.
Naomi Clifford
After many years working in the magazine industry as a writer and editor Naomi Clifford has returned to her first love: history. She is blissfully happy rooting around in libraries and archives for human stories from the late Georgian era. Her first book _The Disappearance of Maria Glenn_, a true crime story from the Regency era, was published in 2016, and she is currently working on another set in the same period.
