The Love Convention - Sebastian Burnaz
Two Souls
(a very, very old story…)
A long, long time ago, when the dawn of the Universe was barely starting, when stars were only a concept in the Creator’s mind and they had not yet taken any shape, when our Sun had not even dreamt of Earth’s existence yet, nor dreamt of shedding its light on it; then, during those times, two souls agreed to love each other.
She was wonderful, as any girl who knows how to love is. He was a warm soul, who was only dreaming about her. They loved each other dearly and their souls warmed each other as only they knew how. Everything around them was filled with love.
He loved her from the first time he saw her, just as she was – as if she came from a faraway Galaxy. He loved her as she was, as he saw her: kind, goodhearted, wonderful, warm, loving, beautiful, delicate. His darling. He fell helplessly in love with her face, her voice, her…
During the day, he saw her face everywhere and thought about her all the time. In the morning, he smiled at her when he woke up; during the day, he spoke to her even when he was alone…
The girl loved him back so much. Her love was a living kind of love; she could see, feel…
She was the being he loved the most and, as time would later prove, she loved him back so much that all marvelled at their love…
A long, long time ago, at the dawn of the Universe, when the world of stars had not been born yet, two souls agreed to love each other, to respect each other and to be together in all their lives.
A long, long time ago, two souls loved each other and they agreed to love each other forever…
The Dream
(told by a beautiful young lady from the planet of Erlista)
I am going to tell you the story of two young people who fell in love with each other and loved each other, although they had never met each other:
On our planet, every evening two young people, a boy and a girl, waited for the other to come. As soon as the boy started dreaming, he went straight to her. Here, they met and talked and they loved each other.
Both shared the same beautiful dream, every night. Both, together, every time. Whichever of the two fell asleep first would wait for the other to show up in the Garden, and once the other showed up, they would both start walking on the pathways, talking, debating, liking each other, loving each other, eyes laughing. They were so in love with each other…
In their everyday lives, they did not know the other, they did not know the other’s name, they did not know what the other looked like, where they were from. But love had made a song flourish in their hearts and they both followed that song.
They were approximately the same age, maybe with a slight difference of up to five years. But they did not know that. All that mattered was their love.
Life went on, day after day, for each of them. Sometimes in her dream, she would wait for him at the Garden gate for a whole night, even if he could not show up, because he was working a night shift. But she waited… and waited.
The next night came and they met again in the Garden, on a bench, and they dreamt together of the same flowers, the same pathways, the same thoughts and emotions. They held hands and each would follow, in their own dream, the same ant climbing on the stem of the same blue flower or the same butterfly waving its wings on a daisy. The same wind ruffled both their hairs in their dream, a dream that each had separately. A dream they built because they loved each other and they wanted to be together…
Years have passed by and they are still dreaming together, still loving each other, wanting each other. They are building love castles in their dream, they are still walking through that wonderful Garden, watching waterfalls, rivers, creeks and admiring the mountains together. Each still with his/her own dream and both in the same dream at once…
They like each other, love each other and dream together…
The Flower Planet
Dear great people lover,
On Sirekna, we have a beautiful legend shared from one generation to the next, about a planet full of flowers.
They say that there is, somewhere in the Universe, a planet reserved exclusively for flowers. Only flowers live there, and they are all beautiful: lilies of the valley, snowdrops, roses, marigolds, tulips, hyacinths, peonies and thousands and thousands of other types of flowers. And they all understand and love each other. There are no fights or arguments among them. They are friends with each other for life, and they help each other as best as they can.
As far as we know, there is no other living being on that planet, except for the flowers. There are no humans, no insects, no trees, no animals, birds or polecats. There are no other living beings except for those beautiful, loving flowers, living in harmony. They are all wonders of the Universe and they love each other as much as they can.
From what we know, there are over six billion flowers on that planet, and they are all prone to love, and they all call love by the same word.
They sometimes wonder about faraway lands. They look at the stars and they wish they could go visit them, to see what’s up there; but they cannot, because their roots are stuck deep in the ground. And sometimes at night, when they all rest under the moonlight, they tell each other what they imagine the stars hold, and they think about us, and they love us. They long to see us, to ask us about love, about what we are and how we feel, to ask us if we have learned to love each other. And their thoughts travel towards us, constantly telling us that they love us, but we are not aware of that.
Violas, gladiolus, and thousands of wild flowers live on that land, without arguing or fighting or cursing, or stealing from each other. They do not know what hate is. Love has flourished in their hearts and they are all flowers both on the outside and on the inside, in their souls. They are love flowers and they have blossomed all over the planet.
They say this planet is located somewhere in the Crisius Cloud, hidden in plain sight, and it can only be seen by those who truly love all and everything there is, just as love should be. I wish all those gathered here knew about such marvel and maybe, some day, we could meet the one who visited this planet.
Because, they also say that, there was once a girl on another planet, who loved all and everything in the Universe and because she loved them all, and she had never hated anyone, the preset conditions were met for the girl to be invited to the Flowers’ Planet. To see the flowers, to hear them and to stay with them.
They also say that this girl had a beautiful heart, as white as snow. The flowers loved her and she loved them back. She spent a lifetime among them, loving them all and speaking to them all. She might still be living there in love and harmony, if she hadn’t left the Flower Planet to take care of her mother, who became very old and called the girl to her in a dream.
We want to know if this legend is true, if others from other planets heard about it; if it is possible for so many flowers to love each other like sisters. We would like you to tell us if you have learned, during your billions of years of travels and existence, anything about the love shared by these beings living on this planet, who love each other like sisters, although they are ‘merely’ flowers…
It is true!
The Old Lady
(a story from Eristanna)
The old lady returns from the market, nodding. She bought a bag of quinces and wants to make some jam…
She walks slowly through her small town. Its houses line up on two streets and one small church rises a little higher than the rest of the buildings. Otherwise, all constructions are only two stories high…
She walks home, watching the sky. There is nothing special up there; the sky is still as blue as she knew it and it is only made of air. What else could there be? She sees a bright blue sky, with three stray clouds floating in it…
And the old lady keeps walking towards her home, without seeing. And just like her, we cannot see either…
For a long, long time, above the sky, in the starry Universe, billions of light forces have been acting to keep the sky from falling on Earth. Thousands of beings and Angels have been making sure that the Earth worked properly…
Billions and billions
